Come back each month to find something new to try. Never dangerous, but always something that might help you see your world differently.
October: Build a Haunted House
During the merrily spooky month of October, why not try your hand at putting together a killer haunted house? Sound like a cool idea, but you aren’t sure how to begin? Well, here are a few tips:
September: Visit a local park—for fun
Quick, before our weather turns to…well, you know, get outside. Specifically, head to one of the many parks in the Salem area, and enjoy what is on offer. You may simply want to have a picnic, take some friends for a game of football or American football, or maybe you want to go on a stroll and enjoy what nature has to offer. It doesn’t matter, just get out there and enjoy before the sun disappears for a few months.
If you need some help, here’s a list of some of Salem’s parks: Riverfront City Park, Minto-Brown Island Park, Cascades Gateway Park, Bush’s Pasture Park, Greer Park, Weathers Park, Lansing Park, Livingston City Park, and McKay City Park.
